From the ceremony held lakeside in Highlands, North Carolina, to the exquisite reception at Rockwood Lodge, Carolina and John’s wedding was nothing short of breathtaking. The mountain setting with views of the surrounding hills set the perfect backdrop as the couple began the next chapter of their lives.
The first blog in the PROJECTGREEK blog series is all about Bid Day. Bid Day is an integral part of Greek life in most Southern college towns. With members in the midst of planning recruitment, the Epting team wanted to share our secret formula – “hacks” so to speak – to Bid Day so that planning such a grand event goes even more smoothly. Enjoy y’all!
Epting Events hit the road with the Black Tie & BBQ crew to the Atlanta Film Festival to meet with top directors, producers and actors and, of course, add that Epting touch to select parties during the festival. Our favorite party that we attended was the HBO Game of Thrones Premier party. Over 4,000 fans lined up outside of the historic Fox Theatre to watch the season five premier and attend an afterparty complete with Game of Thrones themed snacks (think wintercake muffins and an insect bar!). We had to share some favorite memories, from larger than life dragons to wondering ghostly white walkers. Thank you to the Atlanta Film Festival and HBO Game of Thrones for letting us be a part of this unforgettable night!
On the morning of April 1 at 8:30 am sharp, the Habitat for Humanity volunteers were starting their final day of building on the lawn of the Richard B. Russell Special Collections Library. There is nothing quite like dozens of people gathering around a dinner table for a good cause. Last Sunday was truly a magical night as Athenians joined together for the fourth annual Autumn Harvest Feast at The Hill. Gorgeous weather and the charm of hanging tree lights provided the backdrop for the night. The event was presented by the Athens Farmers Market and Epting Events, along with Wholesome Wave Georgia.
Every girl dreams about marrying her best friend. For Ashley not only was she marrying the love of her life, Brandon, but she was also marrying her best friend. The two were obviously in love as it was rare to see either one of them without a smile on May 3rd. Ashley’s infectious laugh made the day enjoyable for all and Brandon couldn’t have been more excited on the day that he would finally get to call the girl of his dreams his wife. Ashley and Brandon were able to share their love story with 170 of their loved ones as they started the next chapter of their lives.
Did everyone watch the Game of Thrones premiere last night! What was your favorite part?
